One of the objectives of We, the Humans is to shape high-calibre students into the leaders of tomorrow.
The students who perform exceptionally well as student research assistants are offered the role of student fellows. Some of them become student research fellows and others become leadership fellows. Student fellows work with independence and a high sense of responsibility and the NGO acts as a facilitator in relation to their ideas and endeavours.
We take students (called "officers") for non-research roles such as those relating to technological assistance, development of media and public relations, fund-raising, among other endeavours.
The basic building blogs of our organisation are our student research assistants.
We take pride in the fact that all our research assistants have high-quality credentials. Majority of them are in top 5-10% of their batch in terms of their academic performance. Many of them have publications in well-read blogs and journals and have participated in international moot court competitions.
Given the nature of our work and the degree of involvement it has from students, we prefer students to be associated with us for at least 3 months.
Therefore, while short-term internships are not our most preferred option, we do sometimes take students with exceptional credentials as interns.
